Hello, I’m Rupankar Barua — a curious traveller who finds joy in exploring new places, discovering diverse cultures, delving into history and architecture, and connecting with people from all walks of life.

After spending over 25 enriching years working in leadership roles across some of India’s most reputed companies — including Pentasoft, Wipro, Reliance Communications, Idea Cellular, and Reliance Jio — I decided to shift my focus to something that truly inspires me: travel.

And that’s how Arya Stays was born.

Arya Stays is not just about finding a place to stay — it's about experiencing the soul of a region. Through carefully curated accommodations and immersive journeys, we bring you closer to nature, wildlife, culture, local cuisine, traditions, and meaningful conversations. Our aim is to create not just itineraries, but lasting memories.

Having lived and worked across cities like Delhi, Kanpur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Kolkata, and Guwahati, my travels — especially across the enchanting North East of India — have deeply influenced my vision. There is truly no place like North East India. It's a land of majestic biodiversity, rich tribal and cultural heritage, ancient traditions, spiritual depth, unmatched music and art forms, and remarkable craftsmanship in handloom and handicrafts — all harmoniously coexisting in a beautifully woven tapestry of life.

Through Arya Stays, I wish to share with you this magic of the North East and beyond — with warmth, authenticity, and passion. We aim to provide you the best of stays - Hotels, Guesthouses & Homestays which will also provide you a set of unique and pleasurable experiences.
