Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati
- Arrive in Guwahati, the largest city in Assam, known for its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.
- Check into your place of stay and freshen up.
- Visit Kamakhya Temple, a famous Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Kamakhya. The temple offers a stunning panoramic view of the city.
- Visit the Mahabahu Brahmaputra Heritage Centre to get an understanding of the Assamese heritage.
- Explore the Assam State Museum to learn about the region's history, art, and culture.
- Take a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River, offering picturesque views of the city skyline.
- Visit one of the best restaurants and enjoy a traditional Assamese dinner, and retire to your rooms
Day 2: Sualkuchi & Hajo
- Have an early breakfast and drive to Sualkuchi, the silk weaving village known for its traditional Assamese silk production.
- Explore Sualkuchi's silk weaving workshops and interact with local weavers.
- Visit the Hatisatra, an elephant-shaped structure, which is an important symbol of Sualkuchi.
- Drive to Hajo, a pilgrimage site known for its diverse religious sites including Hayagriva Madhava Temple, Powa Mecca Mosque, and Kedareshwar Temple.
- Return to Guwahati for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Mayong and Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary
- Proceed to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary in the morning after breakfast. It’s just over and hour’s drive from Guwahati first through the city and then through the rural landscape, touching the Brahmaputra as several places.
- Famous for having the highest density of one-horned rhinoceros and an acclaimed bird sanctuary, Pobitora is a small heaven for wildlife lovers. You can jump on a safari jeep for a 1-hour safari and experience a closer encounter.
- The villages of Mayong also plays a very important role in the history of Assam. Once famous for the prevalence of tantric practices, or Black Magic, as popularly termed, some of which is still prevalent, Mayong also have evidences of the existence of ancient civilisation through sculptures, scriptures and inscriptions. Ancient and rare temples, stone inscriptions, manuscripts, archaeological discoveries are found in large numbers in Mayong. The Mayong Museum and Research Centre houses many of these art crafts for public viewing.
- Enjoy some birdwatching – thousands of migratory birds visit Pobitora every winter
- After lunch, proceed for a boat Safari on the Brahmaputra, landing on one of the villages located atop a sandbank in the middle of the river. Understand the life, the culture and the means of livelihood of the people staying there.
- In the evening enjoy a cultural performance of Bihu dance at the resort
- A bonfire and dinner.
- Retire early.
Day 4: Pobitora to Kaziranga
- Go for an early morning elephant safari
- After breakfast, start early from Pobitora to Batadrava Than, Bordowa, the birthplace of Srimanta Sankardev, who founded the Vaishnavite religion in Assam. One of the best places to get complete insights in to Assamese culture and heritage.
- Spend some time in the Satra and proceed to Kaziranga
- Go for a jeep safari at Kohora range if time permits, else visit a tribal weaver’s village at Kaziranga to understand the culture and life of the people here, and enjoy a traditional Assamese lunch
- Check in to your rooms and enjoy the natural surroundings of Kaziranga
Day5: Kaziranga – Sivasagar
- After breakfast, proceed for a Jeep Safari to Agoratoli range, known worldwide for birds.
- Proceed to Sivasagar, the erstwhile capital of the Ahom Kingdom. A full day sightseeing tour of the Siva Dol, Rang Ghar, the Kareng Ghar, the Talatal Ghar and the Maidams will give a thorough understanding of the rich culture and heritage of the Ahoms who ruled Assam for more than 600 years.
- Stay in Sivasagar
Day 6: Return to Guwahati
- Start early from Sivasagar to Guwahati. On the way stop and walk inside the Tea Gardens to get some great pictures.
- Lunch on the way
- Proceed to Guwahati airport for your journey back home with some wonderful memories.

Payment and Refund Policy
As soon we finalize the itinerary, we request you for 100% payment of the package costs as we need to get the bookings done for your accommodation and vehicles. This happens only after advance payment. This removes any hassles on either side during the trip.
However, we also understand that there could be unforeseen circumstances due to which the trip may need to get cancelled or postponed. Cancellations if done early, poses no problems. But last-minute cancellations result in monetary loss for everyone, leaving aside the loss of time and effort spent in detailing each and every step of the itinerary.
We therefore follow the following refund policy.
- For Cancellation before 15 days of start of journey – 100% Refund
- For Cancellation within 7-15 days before start date of trip – 50% Refund
- For Cancellation within 0-7 days before start of journey – 0% Refund

- The itineraries are subject to change as per flight timings, budgets and preferences of the guests.
- All our tours are customised and hence we do not display any approximate pricing as every tour is unique. We do not book the packages unless payments are made timely.
- The itinerary contains the locations we cover. We want you to enjoy your moments and do not want to rush in and out of a place of interest. Due to more time spent in a particular place of liking by our guests, we might not be able to cover another place in the itinerary. Hence, we request our guests to understand this and cooperate with us accordingly.
- We are nature lovers and respect the blessings we have received through it. We do not encourage any harm to any living or non-living thing on this planet, and want our guests to do the same.
- We would like our guests to respect and follow the norms laid out in all the places we/they visit.
- Certain activities like Safaris, Museum, Waterfalls and Parks have logically defined entry and exit timings. These need to be followed as directed.
- Aryastays would not be responsible in case any part or whole of the itinerary needs to be cancelled/postponed due to force-majeure events like bad weather, excessive snowfall, strikes or any other unforeseeable events or situations not within our control. We request our guests to kindly bear with us in such situations
